POD POINTS & STICKERS
**Stickers are primarily used for our younger Youth Academy. We will have a version of pod points for our Junior Premier Elite Camp but will not be focused on out sticker system.
Each of the individual days of the week is also broken down into a Character Skill and a Soccer Skill. Throughout the week campers can earn Pod Points for their groups when they display one of the Character Skills or Soccer Skills throughout each day. Pod Points can also be earned for working towards improving their soccer juggling (Juggle Master) or from a creative soccer skill (Joga Bonito).
At our camp, each coach carries a red and yellow card like a referee. At San Francisco Soccer Camp these cards are only used for positive acknowledgment. So when a camper is shown a red or yellow card it’s because they are earning one of the following Pod Points (which are given out in the form of a sticker).
The stickers are intended to be earned and meaningful and the coaches provide a speech at the end of the day where they acknowledge the campers who received yellow/red cards, they recap the reason the sticker was earned and issue the sticker.
